This Site All Started With a Pool

I'm Jake Johnson and installing a pool in my home was not easy. First, I had to make the decision. I live alone since my wife died a few years ago, and it seemed rather frivolous to spend money on a pool. I'm not old, but age was a bit of a factor. It seemed almost irresponsible and childish to want a pool at my age. After I committed, I had to find the right contractor. With so many variables (price, time, personality, etc.), it was a lot harder than I thought. Next, I had to work with the contractor to find the proper space and size and look. After months of construction, I had my pool, but then I had to learn a lot about the proper care and upkeep. Overall, though, my little foray into construction (even if I didn't do any of the really hard work) was informative and worthwhile!

3 Great Benefits Of Spray Foam Insulation

When you want your home to be as efficient as possible for as long as you own it, you will need to consider the amount of insulation that you have. Insulation will allow your home to remain thermally efficient, which will provide you with a number of benefits throughout your entire household. This special type of insulation can be installed by a licensed and insured contractor in your home, so consider thee advantages of this material below and use them as you look to hire the help of a spray foam insulation professional who can assist you with any installation that you need.

Benefit #1: Spray foam insulation makes your home more eco-friendly and energy efficient

Using spray foam insulation in your household allows your home to retain a sense of energy efficiency that is useful for your property and the environment as a whole. First and foremost, your HVAC system will work less strenuously on a daily basis in order to keep your home comfortable. This lets you keep them at lower temperatures, while still getting excellent results. Spray foam insulation also allows you to decrease the presence of potential allergens in your home. Reducing these allergens is crucial to your family's health, since they are known to trigger colds and asthma. By doing this, you are allowing your home to maintain its value and overall efficiency.

Benefit #2: Spray foam insulation is incredibly durable

There are plenty of insulation materials on the market, but spray foam insulation has far greater resistance than most. In fact, it maintains an R-6 rank, which currently is the highest industry standard available in the marketplace. Having insulation this durable gives you the peace of mind to know that your home will be cared for under even the harshest weather conditions.

Benefit #3: You will save more money in your home each and every year

Because your heating and cooling systems will expend less energy, you can expect to save money on your utility bills every month. In fact, you will enjoy energy savings that will allow you to pay between 30% and 50% less on an annual basis.  Your HVAC system is responsible for the majority of energy consumption in your home, so this accounts tremendous savings.

Keep these points in mind and touch base with a spray foam insulation professional like Midwest Custom Coatings who will provide you the service that will keep your home operating at high levels.
